Oh ye of little faith, I swear.

Did you for one second seriously think we didn't have this one covered?

    Grrr... http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=34431.html

And I say "we" because I was discussing method, and TIMEtoRIDE was kind enough to fill in the specs. Then what followed was a whole bunch more largely valuable input.

I love teamwork (when we manage to pull it off.)

Well it's not 7-8mm Bruce ;) lol divide that by ten :D

That's the problem with having to convert stuff, too easy to make mistakes (I hate converting enough for 5.5 people.... or is that 5 and a half? :? )

Having to deal with unit conversions does cause a bit of trouble from time-to-time

    Hahaha yeah, bit of a balls-up that wasn't it :D 8O

Think we lost a probe or something due to similar reasons... Beagle 2 IIRC (quite possible I do not RC though!)

That's why everything SHOULD be metric ;)

Everything but beer and whisky. It'd be wrong to order 3.696697109375 ml of Glenfiddich, or a 473.176 ml glass of Hobgloblin.

Was 2 probes to Mars - engineered to one standard - flown by another measurement standard; crashed into the planet at a mere quarter BILLION dollar expense, each.

Back to plugs - why not gap a bit on the short side?? make it a bit easier on the old, failing electricals??

I always gap to the "tight" side of spec, since the gaps widen as the plugs wear.
