Spark Plug replacement

    Probably a silly question, but....What is the recommended plug for the 85 Maxim-x? :?:

    Stock plug is NGK D8EA, but a very popular upgrade replacement is the Iridium plug DR8EIX

    Does the Iradium plug increase the resistance? Since the coils etc are stock, don't want to risk causing any issues.

    It does, but it's not a significant issue. See the website for the discussion on using them in the X's

    I'd already been over to Maximum's site, but it seemed a little unclear. Anyway, went with the Iridium plug, so will see what happens. Thanks for the input,Neil

    How did the iridium plugs go? Notice any difference, i know they are supposed to last longer, but does it run any better.
