I have a 1982 xj 750, and I dont have a manual for it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my plugs should be gapped at. Thanks for your time

No. BP7ES, not R. The caps already have resistors in them, so the plugs should not.

And you are allowed up to 0.032" on the big end of the gap.

My bad. I was going from a service manual, but I think it was the wrong one. Sorry.

The ND number is W22EP (like the NGK, no R in the part number). My manual has the non-metric gap at 0.023 ~ 0.032 in (0.7 ~ 0.8mm).

Must be a typo, it should be 28 - 32.
