    Has anyone experimented with hotter plugs the stock bp7es plugs are a bit dark. I'm thinking about trying a bp6es?

    Post up pics of your plugs. I suspect a mixture issue before I'd consider heat range.

    those look pretty darn good in my opinion, the porcelain is nice and tan, the conducting strap has descent colour change. Only thing that looks to dark is the base ring which usually suggest it's jetted a bit to rich at idle/low rpms.

    Agreed. Plugs are in the correct heat range. A slight tweak to the idle mixture wouldn't hurt, but if you ride in hot conditions I'd just leave it.
