Speedo gear grease

    Can someone tell me a good grease to put in the speedo gear housing. Would wheel bearing grease be good enough? Can't find anything in the service manuals, other than it telling you to grease it.

    I wouldn't use wheel bearing grease, I would be more inclined to use white lithium if anything. This is only my 2 cents worth though.

    I will second the white lithium grease.

    You want something light weight for sure.
