    Hey,
not sure if this is the right place, but has anyone removed the trip reset button on their speedos?
just trying to figure out how to do it. Already had my dremel in my hand before my brain stepped in and stopped me.
i just received my new speedo but it wont fit into the headlight bucket with the button attached (on the left side)
i assume it is speedo brand specific and not every speedo is the same in regards to parts?

    thanks,
    G

    Look carefully ... Either
    1) there will be a screw recessed deep in the end of the knob
    or
    2) the knob will unthread by turning it opposite of the direction you reset.

Some are pressed on. If there isn't a setscrew, and it dosen't unscrew, then give it a good tug.

Cool, I will try all of the above..
think I will fabricate an extension and have it stick out of the bucket.
First I thought I don't need it, but might come in handy to know when it is time to refuel again.
