speedometer mount??

    So dug into the duct tape job today on my 92 xj600.

    I thought at first the headlight braket was busted but it turns out the po got happy with the tape and just taped all around it while he was taping up the guage cluster. so the headlight is fine, Turns out the guages are not attached to the bike with anything but tape, My question is do the guages connect directly to the bike, or does the shroud around the cluster hold it in place. the shroud is cracked and I cannot tell what I need underneith to hold it in place. Anyone know what part it is that holds this cluster to the bike, do I need a entire new set of guages??
