    Anyone else ever have a loud obnoxious noise intermittantly from the speedometer on an 1982 xj750j? I tryed a dirrerent cable ( used) same thing, tryed a different speedometer (used), same thing. Just ordered a brand new cable in hope I had 2 bad cables, replaced the drive dog, retainer and dust seal too, tryed a different drive on the axel too. its drivin me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
