Pipe is featherweight, in great condition. EZ bolt-on for most Yamaha air-cooled 550-600cc series bikes from 1980 thru 1990.

If the 4.5 lbs. pipe is so "ugly" to some then why does it enable such sweet music at 8,000 rpm? Rise above the commonplace and negative.

Sorry, dude. It's ugly. And the mounting solution is less than elegant; is that a hose clamp I see looped through one of the sideplates?

OK so if one is a professional product photographer, takes a zillion shots of super large, colorful and razor sharp images, then has them air-brushed and placed on a white background FREE of the Oh-My-Its-So-OFFENDING mount then it may found acceptable by the XJ cognoscenti ? Geez I didn't know we were part of that kind of pc "sniffy" forum where one gets flamed for a simple part offering.

Gimme a freakin' break - This isn't Vogue, GQ or Super Bike Quarterly shooting features at Pebble Beach. It's a good working exhaust pipe for a reasonable price; that's all.

    Just thinking out loud.

HhMm I wonder what the inside diameter of the pipe going INTO the muffler is?
HhMm I could cut off 4 or 5”s
HhMm if it’s 2” it Might fit on my 750?

It sure looks like a perfect match for my BLUED 4 into 1 and it would solve my beat up loud 4 into 1 muffler problem.

Exhaust is handmade from Australia with clean welds and very high build quality. Front / attachment end of tube is 1.5" diameter, runs 4" long @ 1.5", then approx. 12" long. That section is 2" dia. tube to the muffler can. The after section is 19" long including the outlet. Overall length of the exhaust is 33" tip to tip.

Well you’ve got me interested, BUT!

Anytime I see Australia I see BIG shipping $$$.00.
    And
Anytime I see Carbon fiber I SEE BIG BIG $$$.$$.

Before I go take some measurements, where it is and how much do you want.

    Send me a PM.

    New PM soon.

I just noticed you and I have a lot in common.

A friend of a friend had a RD350 that was chambered, ported etc.
When I bought my 72 Kawasaki H3 (dealer said 1st one sold in N. Texas) he wanted to race. We never really raced. We were on our way to a party with him solo, mutual friend and his wife, me and my wife. We did a roll on from about 35mph
he didn’t want to race when we got to the party.

    I had a Water Buffalo, 72 Turquoise
    http://www.suzukicycles.org/GT-series/G ... ures.shtml
I almost learned how to tune mikuni carbs when I added the 3 into 1 chamber never did get it right unlike chambering my H3 that’s the one “Shoulda never sold it”. I’ve seen them fully restored for $17,000.00.

On to the XS11 full faring, bags, trunk wife and took lots of long vacations on it.
Never modded it but I did race a turboed XS11 he was 2 links ahead (I got a good launch) at the end of 1st, 15 lengths end of 2nd and ½ a block end of 3rd.

Now I’m on a Vmax and working on the XJ750.

Lots of other rides in between but you get the point, it’s been fun for 40+ (broke the tire loose on the max today) and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

That actually doesn't look all that bad. Might be interesting to hear what it sounds like.

"Great Minds Think Alike" blue/white is in my future.
I'm working on a tuning fork (star) theme.

It’s definitely different than the MAC, sounds a lot like a modern I4.
It’s also pretty loud, where the MAC was only loud at WOT the Staintune is loud all the time BUT not as loud as the MAC at WOT.

    Staintune has a “Road restrictor”.
I’m hoping this will solve the loud and slightly lean problemS.
