What's the 4-1-1 on graduating to Stainless Wrapped Brake Lines for a 750 Max?

    Where's the best deal?
    How long did it take?
    Any complications?

My Master Cylinder went south. I'm due for the Front-end Upgrade.
Going with a Kit in the MC.
    Stainless wrapped lines.

    Need them; bad.

rennsportautoparts on EBAY tested to 3000PSI. Total cost for 3 custom lines delivered $71, DOT approved, lifetime warranty and they came with new banjo bolts and crush washers. Took about a week to get from Canada to New Mexico.

I got mine from chacal; the assemblies he sells are DoT-approved, not just the components.

Plus they're correctly "clocked" for an exact fit; and quite reasonably priced.

Just got mine from Chacal too - good price, perfect fit. Huge difference in the braking.

Only took me as long as it did because a) I was taking pictures, b) I hadn't done it before, c) at the last minute I decided I wanted to replace the banjo bolts after all, and d) I broke a bolt taking the union off where the caliper lines meet the line from the master cylinder.

This merely covers the lines themselves, and not the overhaul of the master cylinder nor the calipers (which you're more than capable of dealing with in any event). This was several years back, and if my aging memory is correct, it set me back about four bills. The end result was dramatic, to say the least.

I got mine from Len and it made a huge difference. I love them and got them super quick. It took about an hour to do. The longest amount of time took to re bleed the system.
