The handle below the seat on the left side (I think to help in putting up on the center stand?) It looks like there is a place to install one on the right side. Is this correct? Should my bike have one on both sides?

I have only known there to be one. The other holes are probably for the factory saddle bags.

I also have one on both right and left side of my seca 650. The left one is used for putting the bike on the center stand and the a passenger can use both when riding shotgun. Of course the will have to scrunch a little to reach them.

Only one on mine, on the left side. I guess it's the standard.
