Anyone here ever "refurbished" the switch assembly? My starter button is stuck. I want to just get it apart clean it and hopefully get it operational again.

Another thing... anyone know how it comes apart? Im very mechanically savvy. But my patience tends to run short in this Louisiana heat.

There are 3 or 4 JIS head screws (look like Phillips, but aren't) on the underside of the switch assembly. Remove those and the switchgear comes right off. Be careful to not dislodge and lose the switch or the spring under it. Once teh two halves are apart you can clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner and inspect for any broken solder joints.
