starter brushes

    Hey all,
    new to the site and I was wondering if anyone has info on crossover parts such as, I need to get starter brushes for my 82 xj750rj seca. I found an awsome site with starter rebuild kits for every model but mine, does a like year maxim 650 or something else use the same starter as my bike ??

    Any info on crossover parts would be great, any idea's ?

    Ask about HCP4158 (aftermarket brushes) or HCP4159 (aftermarket brush and plate set).

    Go with the plate set. I did the brushes first, and had to end up going with the plate set because one of the springs holding the brushes broke on the original plate.
