Yup. Bought a Walmart one myself when I was in ME last fall. $30.

    You think that's bad...

I took my 900 in to the local Yamaha shop for a Warrant of Fitness recently and they found a serious problem with my forks (caused by the PO putting them together incorrectly... so they tell me) so I don't have the time or place to fix them so I asked the shop to do the work... Over $350NZD later I had the bike back but the forks were soft as and looked damaged around the tops of the legs.

Then last week I noticed one of the forks was leaking near the top so I got my arse in to gear and fitted progressive springs and new seals to my spare set (thank god I had a spare set) so when I pulled them off tonight I found the o-rings in the air assisted part of the forks are completely chewed out because of the damage to the tops of the legs....

Oh boy am I going to have some words with the owner of the shop next week... I'm fuming

I've go to say that pic is hilarious! But on the serious side, it really sucks having to go to a dealer sometimes, especially knowing that you are probally going to get soaked. But when things get a little too difucult to fix or handle, you sometimes don't have a choice! :x
