I have a very nice condition steering damper that I originally got for my XJ750.
When I installed the new sport fairing it would not fit well with the modifications to the front end and relocation of other parts so it is now for sale.

You can ride hands off all day long and the front end will not move a degree even when a big truck passes in the oncoming lane.
It makes a fairing bike much nicer to ride in the wind too.
It comes with all of the factory mounts and a few pictures to show how to install it.

    I am asking $40.00 + shipping.

Contact me with a zip or postal code and I will let you know what the shipping will be. (should not be more than $15.00 anywhere in the USA or Canada)

The factory steering damper was a Seca only option. There were two variants: One mounts to the fork and frame, the other ('83 model year) mounts under the steering stem. Also this posting is from 2010, and I think his photos are long gone.

The rear bracket in this pic (actualy composed of two brackets) attaches to the gusset that is between the downtubes. The front part of that bracket bolts to one of the oil cooler mounting holes, and the rear part bolts to the set of holes above those. The front (fork) bracket attaches to the left fork leg, far enough below the lower triple clamp to allow free mtion without hitting, and far enough up to not hit the fork seal upon full compression. The assembluy pictured is oriented as if you were standing on the left side of the front wheel, looking toward the engine.

I'm actually missing the front part of the rear bracket, and will be fabricating one this summer if I can't find that part seperately.
