    Hey all,

I'm in the process of doing up a 1980 XJ650, I was wondering what type of headstem bearings would suit?

Currently its running an open ball race.

Also while I'm here would anyone recommend replacement front disks, the ones I have could be machined but rather get ventilated if I can.

    Cheers in advance

EBC discs l think they are not like the originals though and tapered roller headstock bearings.

I've done both, allballs makes a kit for the head bearings and I did the EBC rotor as well. Pretty sure Len (https://xj4ever.com/) sells both.

Len is great with all his parts and helping us out with our XJ's. You will love that upgrade to the bike. What a wonderful difference it makes.
