I'm running dangerously LEAN and I'm going to have to upgrade my jets to be able to run my straight pipes without overheating and blowing. I'm stuck fellas...I can't ride untill I get my bike running right. If anyone knows the stock jet sizes for this bike plz let me know. Also, If any of you have any recomendations for what size to upgrade too that will be helpfull.

I'm pulling my carbs this Saturday and mailing them out on Monday to Rick and I'm going to have to mail just the carbs and then purchase the jet kit online or something and just have the mailing address set to go to him so he can finish up and send them back. But I have no idea at all on what sizes fit or what sizes I need to run right.

Straight pipes with no mufflers, 4 into 2 or 4 into 1?

    Good luck, this might help:

It is a case of experimenting. You won't just be able to "get a kit" to fix everything, all the jets will need to be changed and then checked to see how they affect each other. Finding someone with a similar setup to copy the jetting might help but you will still have to experiment to make sure, they might not have it right.

Oh and you would be far better off sending the whole bike. Rick won't be able to knoiw if the jetting is right with just a set of carbs! ;)

Does your bike have CV carbs?

My advice get a muffler or even standard exaust, your bike will run better, use less gas, last longer and have better low/midrange power.

    4 into 2.

I sure hope this works, I already have a ton of money into this bike so far.

I am confident I will find/fix my problem.
