If you are a fan of speed, there are the names of places that mean "Fast"!

    Daytona
    Indy
    LeMans
    Watkins Glen

LeMans and Watkins Glen are Road Courses. You need some skill to run a fast lap.

And then, there is a place where you can go Flat-Out.
    Every conceivable challenge.
Turns, esses, straights, hairpins, decreasing radius turns and a monster straightaway with just enough of a grade and decent to let you put the pedal to the metal and see how much you got!

    Nurburgring!

The near 13-mile long road course in Germany where they go to see how well it handles and just how fast it can go!

Chevy brought a brand new, showroom stock Corvette to Nurburgring to see how it stacks-up against the World's Best!

    Hop-in to the new 'Vette.
    Fasten your seatbelt.
We're going around the 12-1/2 mile Nurburgring Road Course in less than seven and a half minutes.

    This is a rush!

Thats pretty cool. I've never been much of a Corvette fan but that is impresive. That tight TIGHT Carissel(sp??) turn on the far end must throughso many Gs.

Would be fun to run that even in a Vega.

That was awesome. Accelleration equally as impressive as braking power. Hopefully GM will keep pumping out zr1's. In this day in time they are gutting their lineup, selling hummer, and any other model that's not pulling its wieght. I know vette will never be gone for good, but in this economy i can see where production could be suspended just like they did with the f-cars a few years ago. (camaro and firebirds)

I found this on youtube. not the best veyron video i ever saw, but you can all search and find better ones. This is the bugatti veyron, and if you've never read up on it, it is fascinating (f'n awesome more like it). before the car lets you get into mode 3 (top speed) you have to have another key and check the tire pressure. Top speed is over 250mph, 1000+hp

A few more for your list:

Isle of Man. Self explanatory I think......

Then there's Macau. It's a Euro street circuit for bikes that is lined with armco. The hardcore BSB racers go there to test their mettle......

Hey I was there on my 550 Seca! They gave me a five second head start before the Vette took off. Never did see me, did you? I thought it was a Chevette behind me not a Corvette.

Watching the USA GP-Motto today at Luguna Seca, I felt exactly the same way.
Amazing how accurate the games are.

That Sabine Schmitz video is awesome, I'm a huge fan of Top Gear. Anyone who doesn't know about it should youtube search "Top Gear" and prepare to lose as few hours.
I just finished watching the "Long Way Down" DVDs. Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman on an epic bike trip from the Northern tip of Scotland to the Southern tip of Africa that had me cursing winter about every 15 seconds and planning a journey that I know will never happen
