I rode my bike all last year too and from school....I always had one problem or another, but it was fairly dependable. I could never get it dialed in right because of lack of proper tools, but even when I should have been getting it close, it never seemed quite right.

I had the carbs apart over the winter and noticed that I was missing 1 of the tiny washers at the bottom of the pilot screw, and that the o-rings were chewed. I ordered some from chacal since they were cheap and I figured it was an easy winter project.

I just put the carbs back on the bike and started riding again this year, and the difference has been amazing! I had no idea that those small little chewed up o-rings would make such a massive difference, but the bike is running smoother and steadier now than it ever did last year, and I haven't adjusted the carbs at all. I saw this problem mentioned in one post last year, and didn't really think anything of it, but its pretty amazing the difference those little pieces have made. Now as soon as I get my colortune from chacal and sync and tune, I'm looking forward to an awesome running bike.

Thanks for everyone's help on this board while I've fixed my bike up. I haven't been around for a while, but I'll try to chime in when I can be of some help.

P.S. Chacal has earned my business for some time. there was a miscommunication on an order several months ago, and I just now realized it was the wrong part. He took care of it without any hassle, even shipping me the correct part before I've had a chance to return the other one. I'm not trying to gush, but I'll be happy to do more business with him in the future.
