Suzuki GS850 pistons in the XJ900F?

    Hi all

    I’m in the process of trying to get pistons made for the XJ900F. Hopefully 69mm (.5mm oversize -first rebore).

    However, if this fails to come to fruition has anybody attempted to fit Suzuki GS850 pistons to the XJ900F?

    GS850 pistons are 69mm at standard bore. I can’t find any info detailing the other measurements such as wrist pin to crown distance, overall height etc. I think I may have read somewhere that the crown is slightly higher. Not sure about the valve cut outs either.

    I could buy a second hand GS850 piston to compare, but thought I’d ask around first.

    I’m rebuilding another engine and might need an alternative option to my master plan!
