    Does anyone on here have experience with this bike?

    A friend of mine picked one up to start riding this year, he's having an interesting problem.

    He says the bike will cut out when it is being pushed hard (doing 100km/hr up a long hill for example, yeah the bike is pretty gutless haha) when it cuts out he doesnt lose all electrics, lights and such still work. Also he can usually just pull over, pull in the clutch hit the starter button and start it back up he says.

    My guesses were either a faulty killswitch connection which is going off due to the vibration OR some kind of overheat shutoff. I figured its probably not fuel or carb related since it just cuts right out.

    Anybody have an idea what this could be?

    tank vent, fuel filter. it's a 250, a man has to know his limitations !
