    G'day guys,

I recently removed, cleaned and reinstalled the switch assembly (see pic). Not quite right is it..? There's a ring outside the housing (left side) that I'm not sure what to do with.

    Thoughts?

Looks to me like you have the throttle tube set too deep. There is a groove in the housing that matches the ring on the throttle tube. Once set correctly there will be a gap between the grip and the switch housing. Be sure to lubricate the throttle tube locating ring, and the inside of the throttle tube with graphite.

The black ring on the left should be inside of, and flush with the switch case.

Also add the year and model of your bike to your signature.
