    All,

I've been on and off here for years rebuilding an xj900 and while I've had some great success thanks to this place I've run out of time and just can't get over the finish line without help. So,,,, does anyone know someone in Sydney that will get my bike running smoothly so I can register her and get on the road?

I know it might cost me more than the bike is worth but I'm attached now! All I need is some held with her tuning and idling.

PS. I really appreciate the advice and ideas given to me by you all, but I've started a new job which pays well but takes up my time. Therefore it's time to give it to the experts

Any suggestions? She's an 83 XJ 900. Btw

ELLO, ELLO, ELLO, from America, If you give us a lot of detailed info about your problem, maybe we could help you with your situation. Send pictures if you think it would help. Do you have access to a manometer or vacuum gauges?, a colour tune plug? and the all important YICS tool? Tuning is not that hard.

    Hi Oby
I'm up in Newcastle & dont have any real suggestions apart from a mobile bike mech , there are a couple that advertise.
Maybe you could get one of them to come & give you a hand on the tricky stuff.
    Cheers

I've cleaned the carbs and had the valve shims done professionally. It really is now just about time. I'm getting an hour or two every few weeks to look at the bike and so have decided it's time to get some assistance. I've saved enough cash to buy a new bike, but a heart to heart with my better half confirmed that what I really want is to ride my XJ and don't have the time to get her finished.

I really appreciate the offers for help, but I really just need someone to take over. I will then work to do the little bits to have her looking her best in the little time I get to work on her.

    Any ideas gang?

Time doesn't really exist except in the mind. So, manipulate it to suit yourself. Sorry we could not assist you.
