tach cable?

    Hello all. So it appears that my tach cable is stuck inside the gauges. When you loose the nut all the way off the cable should just pull right out. Correct? I tried to pull it out a bit but I didn't want to break anything so I thought I'd ask for some advise before I broke something. This is for a 82 max 550.

    yes it should just pull out try some penetrating oil just a little

    Thanks for the reply. Just had to pull a little harder. The end of the cable looks all jacked up. That's probably also why it didnt work. Good thing I've got a spear....
