I just wanted to say what an amazing forum this is and how fortunate I was to find and follow the expert advice on this site to get my 82 Seca back to decent form. When purchased in 1987 (for only $850), it had only 4,600 km (barely 3,000 miles). Many seasons and 50,000 km later, it was so rough mechanically and cosmetically, I though it was as good as landfill. Although I had many frustrating setbacks, thanks to perseverance and the help of many on this forum, I now have it running well and looking decent. Big thanks go out to mrkil (Jeff) and b0bv1la (Rob) for the parts contributions (emblems and panels), and of course to the experts like BigFitz, Rickco and Chacal who tirelessly contribute to the success of this site with their knowledge and service. Here's to another 23 years! :D

...oh, and the signals are actually the stock ones from my 93 Vmax. IMHO, they actually look better on this bike.

Chacal, those wheels are stock - these came with the bike when I purchased it in 87, I'm pretty sure they are factory original. Bridgestone tire on rear is brand new. I polished up the aluminum potions of the spoke (the outer face) and rim, while leaving the stock black paint on the rest. If these are not the usual rims for an '82, it maybe because this is a Canadian model.

Oops, my bad! For some reason I was thinking (and reading) that your bike was a 650 Seca..........yes, those are stock wheels for the 550 Seca models............time to wake up!

Still diggin' on the wheels though, I've always like that style more than the swirlies.....
