After a couple hours and two really exhausted thumbs i finally got the bicycle inner-tube sections (cut to length of boot) stretched over the boots. The secrets follow to save yourself from cussing like a sailor, being covered in RTV for days or breaking your thumbs (those are really important every day but especially for this task ;) :p )

Secret 1#: Let the RTV set to get slightly tacky before you try to put the rubber on. If not it will be worse than a greased pig with a rocket pack.... funny analogy i know but I'm serious. you be so frustrated and wear yourself out... its not easy..

Secret #2: Heat the rubber in the microwave one at a time or , like I did, with a lighter. When the rubber is warm its more pliable and stretchy; basically gives you more to work with.

Secret #3: move in one swift motion... at least make that your goal. Put your thumbs... yes both of them... into the tube, put the slack of the tube that your not in, and out it inside the boot and straight down the tube will flip insideout and go right down. which leads us to #4

Secret #4: This is most important. when you get the boot over your RTV slathered manifold, and it all the way down to the vaccum nipple... DONT STOP! BIG STRETCH AND OVER THE NIPPLE> DO NOOOTTTT MAKE A HOLE FOR IT> Rest the rubber over the nipple and lightly press. it should just pop through with a perfect hole.

I will say. I have pods. I have not rejetted. my bike runs awesome in the low end..... havent really stretched it. cant seem to make my way out of third and sometimes fourth gear here :D so cant attest to the punch of the top side but from rest its fairly punch and shifts fine. no sputter or really backfire anymore after tuning.....

oh. and dont drill any brass caps unless your absolutely positive about what your doing......

Or.... do what I did and fit the inner-tube rubber first, then fold it back to do your slathering

Or put RTV in the cracks, let it harden, then coat each boot with Spray on Electrical Tape. Way easier.........
