hey guys. I am trying to grease up the worm gear under the speedometer readout because mines been howling like crazy and I am stuck at how to remove the knob that we use to reset the tripmeter. I can't pull the whole assembly out with the knob attached. anyone care to chime in? Thanks!

Sorry guys disregard this thread. I am such an idiot. All I had to do was turn the knob in the opposite direction.

You're not an idiot. I think they're left handed threads aren't they? Took me a minute or two to figure out myself. Maybe we're both idiots...

If you were a bona fide idiot, you would think that a "trip meter" was a device that made its debut at Woodstock.(steer clear of the brown acid!)
