K figured it was time to make a build thread. So here it is it was taking forever to upload so i have direct links to my album and made them public i have 2 albums both have the same photos one has lower resolution photos, so it will load faster for all of you who don't have the best internet.

Here's the High res "slower loading"

    The low res "faster loading"

Please let me know if you have any troubles with the links and thank you for looking!

"The Trooper" I'm looking at stretching and lowering while also keeping the shocks The most current photo is the one that has the diamond plate fender welded on.
I'm currently making spacers for the swing arm and looking for ideas on forward controls so if you have any advice or a link to your own build with forward controls i would very much appreciate it.

Yesterday I found some large ammo boxes that i am planning to use as saddle bags they are about the perfect size. Will post pics as soon as i can but may not be till next weekend.

Thanks in advanced for all the replies and enjoy!

you're planning on stretching and lowering the rear end but keeping the rear shocks? you wont be able to use the stock shocks... the geometry will be bad and they will just squat all the time... maybe look into some longer shocks like off a snowmobile or something... just a suggestion

ya i was hoping for the best. I haven't got them mounted yet, because i don't have the swing arm made yet.
If they don't would sportster or gas shocks do the trick?
O and i'm not keeping the stock mounts im moving the mounts also so i pretty much have freedom when it comes to the angle the shocks will be absorbing the weight.

Sportster shocks are ALOT better than our shocks, our shocks wore out after 5K miles or so.. i would think they would be up to the job... they're made for heavier bikes....
