Thermo fan on Oil Cooler

    As the subject says, would there be much benefit of putting a small thermo fan on the oil cooler? That way the oil will still have some airflow when the bike isn't moving. Would it be worth it, or would it become a restriction to air flow at speed?

    I think the Maxim-X has/had one on its radiator, so apparently Yamaha (at one point) didn't think that would be an issue.

    I think Chacal was saying in another thread that he has a thermostat on one of his lines that fully opens up at 180 degrees.
