Thoughts on emblem

    I purchased a set of these last week: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-L ... 33596af724
    They came all the way from Korea and only cost me 6 bucks. I am repainting my xj650 and am not replacing yamaha emblems on the side of the tank. I was thinking about putting these on the tank and then clearing over them. Thoughts?? All the other (aluminum) parts on the bike are polished so the chromed look is what I am going for. The bike will be an electric metallic blue with ghost flames....

    I think they are too small for a tank, more like the size you would put on the tail fairing of a SECA.

    I thought that too but when I held them up to it, they seemed just right for the size. I dont want them TOO big. I REALLY like when a guy has just the yamaha logo on the tank. I thought about putting them on the side covers but they seem too big for those...thanks for the input though!!
