    Hello,

    Need some help.
On my yamaha, I have a dual throttle. The accelerator cable is threaded where it goes into the throttle housing. It's an m8 1.25. The decelerator cable has no thread and just slides in.
My problem: I am getting rid of the original throttle assembly (throttle tube is inside the switch housing) and my aftermarket throttle has threaded holes that are m10. Way too big and the setup won't work.

My question: are there an adapters for this scenario? I would prefer not to go with universal cables.

But I am ok with getting a new throttle assembly.
I basically just need that, no switch housing.

I hope the above makes sense.

    Thanks,
    Gabor

Think a found a solution. Bought an assortment of rivet insert nuts with inside threads. One of the sizes fits for the decallerator. The accelerator side needs to be drilled out a bit (the rivet nut). But so far it looks good. Keep you posted.

Just to close this topic: I successfully installed the throttle by inserting a rivet nut. All good now and finished up
