throttle response

    hello everyone.
    just bought my first bike. 94 seca II.
    can anyone let me know if there is anything i can do to improve throttle response. bike seems a bit jumpy at cruising speed.

    tune the bike, sounds like it is running lean at this time.
    check plugs and report back

    just bought it from a shop that did a tune on it. i will check the plugs and get back. Friend mentioned jetting the carbs? is that something that a weekend mechanic can do or am i better off taking it to a shop?
