Was out for a spin when I ran into this 20160326_160523.jpg
Chris, 18, on the left teaching Burlin how to ride his '85, I think, radian 600 in a school parking lot. He's had it two weeks and said he got it running by himself. I pointed out some major issues needing immediate attention without being too harsh and invited him to join us. Hopefully he will.

I asked Chris' permission to post this.

Great picture. I would suggest that they get full face helmets (yes, I am paranoid and safety conscious) and boots. From what I hear, chins are one of the primary targets of roads.

That helmet is one of many things wrongfully unsafe about this.

At least the pedal part straightened out robot can be used---- kind of goes along with the scrapes on the engine side cover, and the broken front fender-----

I asked him to join us here so we can help sort out problems with his bike because the list of "what's wrong" will get long very fast.

Great idea, Gary. The basic riding course is a great start, but there is a lot to learning to ride safely, from riding gear to maintaining a bike.
