Oh man, That would be a nice thing to drive up for. FIRST Robotics build season starts Saturday, so I'll be really busy for the next 6 weeks!

With the U.S. dollar you could have a lot of fun up here.

I went a few years (decade? Shit, I'm getting old) ago. It was awesome! Totally worth a six hour trek down the 401 in a blizzard. Thousands of bikes and scantily clad models can help you forget the Canadian winter for a few hours.
Iirc, the Dodge Tomahawk was there... v10 motorcycle is a sensible plan. Great starter bike, and cheap on insurance, as it's probably never gonna drive on a road!

Little bit of a drive for me, but I do have the Progressive IX center show last week of January. It's a bit closer too at 7 miles :)

I attended the show yesterday. Only one XJ in the entire show that I saw.
Shania Twain had a bike there LOL. Basically an indistinguishable Harley chop but with horrendous tubes welded all over it.
I didn't take any pics it was so embarrassing.
I'm sure she hasn't got a clue how to even ride a bike since most of the added on shite would actually interfere with the rider. I would think she pays PR guys big money to uphold her image.
    Somebody's not doing their job.

Another thing I'd add is the Hindle exhaust display. They have a new line of stainless headers catering to the cafe crowd. Listings for H K & S but no Yamaha.
I spoke to the rep and he said soon they will be adding vintage Yamaha stuff. Not cheap but beautifully made.

Something weird happening. Tried a "reply" to the post with the picture and it keeps going to your last post. Hmmm. Oh well this is what I wanted to reply to the post with the picture.
"Just by looking at the bike I will venture a guess that it was one of the DTT guys from Toronto.

I don't know if this will work but this link should take you to my FLICKR album about the Hindle system I bought back in 99 for my Maxim X. I hope this will be part of the "Vintage stuff" the rep mentioned.
