Touch up paint

    Hello, I'm looking for a place to buy some touch up paint for my dad's XJ-750. Its an 83 but when we restored it, we painted it in '82's red. This was several years ago and now it has a rock chip in the paint.

    Can you help me out?

    how did you find it the first time?
    a auto paint store can put a sample in some kind of machine and make it for you but they may only want to sell you a quart.......a little too much for a chip repair.
    sounds stupid but i've seen it work. take a sample to the mall and go in anyplace that sells fingernail polish, you might find something really close for a few bucks. if you don't like the results just wipe it off with remover and give the rest to the wife :)
