I have a 1982 xj650 and I was wondering where I could get the brake pads from. would an auto parts store have them in stock or would it be better for me to get them on the internet?

Lots of on-line stores, or your Yammy stealership will have aftermarket pads, cheap as chips.

In Aus I'd just go to a motorbike spare parts dept and buy them otherwise I'd be looking on this website at the XJ4ever pages and you'll find all the parts your heart desires and all can be ordered over the web.

http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... rt=30.html Scroll down to section J for brakes.
