What is clogged in this situation? I've been cleaning the carb but the problem is still there. A half hour in the ultrasonic cleaner with simple green and hot water, rinsed and blown out with compressed air. It runs without the choke but poorly. If crack the throttle open quickly, it dies.

Did you just dunk the carb, or did you disassemble it fully?

We took the bowl off, the float/needle/seat, and the throttle part that unscrews off the top of the carb. I think the kids poured the last drop out of the gas can into the tanks and then ran the tanks dry causing the debris thats usually found at the bottom of the gas can to wind up in the carbs. One bike cleaned out fine but the other one is a problem. Both worked fine until they were run out of gas and fresh gas was put in the tank.

Clean them again, but this time take the jets out, along with the emulsion tube, and spray carb cleaner through every hole and passage. Then fit an inline fuel filter so you don't have to clean the carbs every time it runs out of gas.
