So, my turn signals work great when the bike is sitting in the garage, however once I am out on the road, they stop working. They won't come on at all when the bike is in gear or moving. If I stop at a light and put it in neutral, all of a sudden they start working again! Weird. Anyone have any ideas?

Try unplugging your canceler. Mine would stop them from working when cold. Could be similar issue. At least it will get started debugging.

looking at the wiring diagram, the only wires I see that directly connected to the flasher switch/relay/canceller and the neutral relay/light are the dark green and the dark brown, and the ground. Dont mean to be a nerd, Ive just been doing wiring the past couple of days :)

I had an intermittent problem with my turn signals not working and found that both wires going to my rear left turn signal had bare spots where they rubbed against the seat/frame.

Anytime you have weird electrical anomalies like the one you've described, my rule of thumb is to always clean all the grounds and make sure they're all still hooked up. Once you're positive the grounds are good, then you can start looking for other problems.
