    Morning ya'll.

I've just about finished rebuilding my ex. Police 1984 XJ 750
(And when I find the previous owner who butchered the wiring I'm gonna rewire him! Arrrgggg!)

However, the old tyres on the bike don't appear to have any sizes printed on the sidewalls (some weird el-cheapo brand one of the previous owners had chucked on her).

Can anyone advise of the tyre sizes and suggest a good tyre to use, I'm no racer, more of a cruiser.

I'm using Metzlers on my GSX and they've given me a good run so far.

    Any help would be great!

    Cheers!

    Hey Johnno,

What part of NZ are you in?

There are a few brands available in the land of the long white cloud :)

I've been running a few different tyres on my 900 in the last couple of years and there's some not bad deals about, pretty much depends on what you need.

    Cheers for that wizard!

Alive, I'm in Taumarunui (on the main trunk line!)

Like I say, Metzlers have been good to me so far so wouldn't mind sticking with them.

Just a cruiser not overly into anything hard out!

One thing I haven't been able to track down is some Yamaha "mudflaps", any ideas? I've tried several dealers etc. but no go.
