    hi im new here i have xj550 uk model ,could somebody tell me the differences between the 550 maxim and the seca?

    G'day mate as far as I can tell the difference between the Maxim and the Seca is the Maxim was the 'custom chopper' type with the smaller diameter back wheel and fatter rear tyre from memory we got them here as Midnight Specials in the black and gold.
    The Seca was more your standard type motorcycle where stopping accelerating and turning was more important than looking like a Harley.
