Ultrasonic cleaner mods

    I really didn't know where to put this.....so if it's in the wrong spot, sorry.

    But there seems to be some smart people on here so I'll pose a question.

    I just got one of the 6L Ultrasonic cleaners. Well the basket takes up a good amount of room.

    Has anyone tried to use a coating, something like plastidip on the bowl of it, so you can lay parts directly on the metal? Kinda spitballing here. In my mind it seems like a good idea, but no clue of the consequences it would have on the vibration factor.

    The reason for the basket is to allow the waves to form in the cleaning solution. Laying parts on the botom of the machine is just like resting your hand on the lip of a bell.
