On my 1982 Yamaha XJ650... On top of the upper case... there appears to be a bolt with a tightening lock nut on it. Just under the cam chain tensioner. What is this for? Is it to adjust the slack in the stator chain? I tried to find a pic of it in the fiches but I was unable to see it.
Can anyone confirm its purpose? And how to adjust it?

    Mike....

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed..
