    well she's running. first ride all year and the head light relay crapped out on my way to work this morning. gotta sync the carbs and decide on a color. maybe the factory purple again. I'll put another pic up with the windshield & saddlebags tomorrow.

    Yeah. It does turn heads! The color is 2001 BMW Mauve. It really isn't quite as purple as it shows in the picture but every time I ride the thing to the store sidecar on/off somebody comments on the color. I've yet to have someone comment negatively on the paint.

    Before I became "enlightened" (by buying the purple bike) I would have likely been the d***head who would have walked up to the owner and made some bs comment about the color!

    It's so nice to be enlightened and one with the universe! LOL

    Go purple! It is the color of royalty you know!

    it'll be puple just gotta see if i can find a match to the factory color or another shade of it that i like. at this rate though that may be a winter project again, lol.
