Where can I get a valve cover gasket set. Also looking to adjust the valves while I am in there. Shims needed? What do I need for that adjustment?

Assuming your bike to be aircooled,

Here you go, direct from "FAQ Suggestions:" http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=14827.html

When you replace the gasket, be sure to replace the metal/rubber composite "donuts" on the bolts. They are what does the work of actually pushing the cover against the gasket, as the bolts themselves have stop collars.

Oh, and use a metric feeler gauge. I was using an "Imperial" (American) marked gauge in some of the photos, a purely metric gauge is a bonus.
