Hey, Im getting ready to place an order with chal for carb rebuild parts, and valve adjustment parts. I have a question. When I pulled the current shims out and wrote down the numbers off it. I have 4 of them with odd markings.
#4 exhust is 2?75. #3 exhaust is 275a, #2 intake is unreadable. #1 intake 2,825. Any thoughts on what theses are transalted over too? or is there a diffrent way to mesure them to get a idea what they could be? I have some known numbered ones, should I move them over and maybe try taking a new reading so I can get the correct new shims?

Some shims will have an "a" after the number, some won't.

Most countries that use the metric system use the comma as a decimal, and a decimal as a comma, the opposite of the way we write numbers.

So your 2,825 would be 2.825mm. I've not seen a shim that was measured out to the thousandths. They usual go from 2,80 to 2,85
