Not sure if others use this fairing, but here it is.
I've since sold the bike to friend. This is only bike and I suggested a fairing if he planned on riding in the cold. Going to make baffles for the pipes I put on also. I think we're going to finish the seat with the idea I had in mind. Time will tell I suppose, as it's his bike now. I'm just the wrench for it at this point.

My parts bike has a quicksilver installed. They look extra nice for a secas angular lines.

I use a windjammer. You really notice the improvement on the highway, especially if a newer rider. Much less hand/arm fatigue and loud wind in your face.

Many would miss the wind, but to each their own. :)

P.S. Quicksilver is smaller than a Windjammer.

We went to the local bike-breaker yard looking for a clutch lever. The one on it was missing the ball-end from a drop and Kurt wanted more lever. Anyway, I spotted a same year Maxim with the QuickSilver on it. $75 later and 'Ol Kurt had a fairing and a factory tool kit (which I was missing for the bike). But yeah, I think the lines look good for the bike. The fairing cleaned-up well except for the "QuickSilver" stickers on it. Sometime over the winter Kurt'll repaint the whole bike.

Like I said, that being his only bike, a fairing for him is a good thing. He's had it rough physically. Broken back and neck, various other ailments. He's an Old Man, retired and widowed, and the less wind on him the better. He's on two wheels and that's the important thing. Freedom and Purpose, ..you know.

My hope is that he won't kill himself on it. He's dropped it once already, but only during a U-turn. He's getting better at it. I think he'll survive.

I've got some ZX-6 fairing mirrors that I want to try on the fairing. Don't know yet if the angle for them will work, but the handlebar mirrors will hit the shield if turned too far. Will probably lean the bars back a little as well.
