Vin # decoding verification...

    Ok so I just bought a '82 XJ750J Maxim "Bobber" project that needs finishing(I'll post about this with pix after this thread.. :) ). The 17 digit Vin is worn off dew to the cables rubbing on it.. So, I read Chacal's "Model ID and Vin's" thread here: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=14577.html
    I took the "shorty Vin" from the right side of the steering neck(15R-019761). I read n followed his thread n got the "17 digit Vin". OR atleast if I did it right then I got the "17 digit Vin"... :lol:

    Now my question is does anyone on here wanna see if they get the same "17 digit Vin#" as I do!?! If so, post it up n I'll cross ref. it with what I got... This would be a BIG HELP!!
