VIN Number

    I just purchased a 1981 Yamaha XJ750RH Seca, but I cannot read the VIN number as the tag has some parts scratched off. Is there another location that the VIN can be found on the bike? Or, is there a way to find out what the VIN is by the serial number stamped on the frame?

    Thanks a million! with that information, I was able to put together the full 17 digit VIN number for my bike and can now file for the title on it! Extremely pleased! You are the Wizard!
