For some reason the "Dragon Warrior" is not on the poll, maybe one of the sheriffs can edit it because I can't. If your vote for the Dragon Warrior just post a reply on this thread and that will do.

The black Seca is the 1983 550R

    1982 Seca 550 is red
1981 Seca 550 is white (Fitz's other one)

1982 USA Seca 650 is silver
1982 Canada Seca 650 is red

1980-84 UK 650 (our Seca) came in black, red, blue, and silver.

My vote is for the factory blue UK 650

I do like all of them (my least favorite is the factory red). I do like the black with blue decals; perfect Carolina Panthers scheme!

The factory red scheme would look a lot better if they had used a more vibrant red.

Thank you for all of you who voted on this poll. When I started my restoration project I really liked the "Dragon Warrior" and the more I learn about this bike the more I appreciate the "stock" parts and schemes on it.

Non the less I want to put my personal touches to it so I am almost set on this scheme for my bike:

Where would you find something like that? There's another string asking how to get a luggage rack/sissy bar for a 650.

For the 650 Seca? Patience, lots and lots of patience. They're harder to find than a decent headlight.

That thread is for one for the 650 Maxim, those are much easier to come by.

The bike in the pic the Dragon Warrior posted is not only a Euro-spec bike, but that appears to be a Euro/World market FACTORY hard luggage/rack setup. It's like the rear chrome-loop grab rail on the Euro 550s, never even came here.

The other challenge will be locating the Euro-spec graphics; although the USA (silver scheme) decals might look good on black too, and they're available.

    Dragon Warrior, first choice.
    Non-Factory Red, second choice.

    Fitz,

I finally found the euro decals and they are on the way, once I get the first set I amy be able to take it to a local shop and make a few sets, I may do that as backup just in case I need another one I don't have to order them from Germany :)
