vyvanse and my never ending long as shit day

Have any of you on here tried "vyvanse"? It is normally prescribed for ADHD I think. My wife is on some medicine that has a side effect of forgetfulness and lack of focus, so her Dr. prescribed this shit in order to counteract those side effects from the other meds.

WELL.... she forgot her work bag the other day and I ran it in to her work. She wanted me to bring one of these pills for her as well since she had forgotten (guess the forgetfulness meds aren't work THAT great ) for two days. Well, I had it in my pocket and I forgot (must be contagious) to give it to her. I was driving home from her office and thought..... eh.....why not see what this stuff does That was at 9am. Long story short I was on point getting shit done all day. My wife was going to bed at 11pm and I was cleaning the kitchen, putting shit away, and cutting up some fruit (watermellon and cantaloupe) for our lunches.... hahahahahaha I'm so gay. It kept me going so strong that at 1:30am I had to FORCE myself to go to bed, which only gave me about 3 hours of sleep before having to get up and get to work to start my 12 hour shift. Needless to say I snagged another pill, because I knew there was no way I would be able to function well at my possibly stressful and fast paced work. It WORKED. I was rockin and rollin ALL day able to stay on top of a crazy work day, but without being jittery or anything like caffeine or ephedrine would leave you. I just felt GOOD! However, the same thing happened to me again last night. I couldn't wind down and ended up heading out to the garage to dork around with the bike around 1am. At 3am I realized that sleeping was DEFINITELY going to be a losing battle, so I kept on trucking in the garage getting little things done on the bike like speedo mounted, headlight bracket secured, tank lock drilled out, so I can slap my Seca lock on it that I have a key for..... put a ding in the tank, so I filled it up with water and stuck it in the freezer..... struggled with the air box boots and finally got them back in place....and stared at the exhaust for what felt like forever contemplating the the hell I'm going to do there....

Before I knew it it was 5:24. I USUALLY get up and hop in the shower at 5am. Oooops....had to hurry and get ready and get out the door. Now here I am STILL going strong 10 hours later. I'm up to 34 hours running on 3 hours of sleep at the moment and I won't be in bed tonight until 10pm at the earliest, so push that total on up to 41 hours on 3 hours of sleep.

Oh.....and YES I took another one of those crack pills to get me through today. NO MORE of these f'ers. :lol:

Don't get hooked on that stuff, keep the bike in the garage until you get back to normal.

no SHIT! I'm not taking anymore unless I get a perscription for it. I don't do "addicted". I've learned my lesson on riding shit while I'm exhausted and sluggish. That's how I tore through the fennce in my back yard with the 3-wheeler project I was working on and laid down my gsxr in a parking lot a few months ago after getting it road worthy-ish

The XJ will not leave the safety of the garage until I have had a FULL night's sleep......TWO actually.

ha, i thought the same thing with my wife's bc pills...i took one and nothing happened.....took 4 more and my breasts were very tender for 2 days

happy to report that I got 7 hours of sleep last night and no pills this morning. Just need to get through this shitty 12 hour day and then I get two days off to get some work done on the bike.

People with concentration issues get it prescribed because the chemical balance in their brains is upset, thus the medicine alleviates this.
The fact that the dosage is increased in a period of 6-8 weeks to its recommended level. For a normal functioning brain Vyvance, Ritalin etc. would function just like a drug (considering they contain amfetamine).
